The Health & Safety
Event 2026:
Stand Round-Up
Posted by Richard | 07/05/2026
The Health & Safety Event 2026 returned to the NEC Birmingham this year. It remains the main event for health and safety professionals in the UK, with 83% of the audience coming from senior management or C-suite roles. This makes it an essential place for companies to network and show off their latest products.
Graphic Mill worked with several key brands this year. Our job was to design and build bespoke stands that helped our clients stand out and gave them the right environment to meet with visitors.

Greenham
We were back at the show with Bunzl Greenham, who took a much larger space this year to accommodate their various brands. The layout was designed to be practical, using branded walls to create clear sections for different product categories.
To make the products stand out, we used mannequins on custom plinths and installed a large circular ceiling banner. This acted as a clear landmark, making the Bunzl Greenham logo visible from right across the hall. The stand was built using the Aluvision modular system, which provided a clean, high-quality finish and allowed for a quick installation.

Blackline Safety
The Blackline Safety stand used a sharp, angular design that was easy to spot on the floor. This theme was carried through from the floor layout to the wall structures, welcome desk and canopy.
We installed a rear-illuminated logo at a high level to ensure the brand was visible from a distance. Inside the stand, we included dedicated areas for screens and product demos, along with a high-bar seating area for more informal meetings. A split-level floor helped to define the different zones while keeping with the angular look of the build.

Productos Climax
For Productos Climax, we built a high-contrast stand using their signature orange and black colours. The focus here was on getting the products in front of people, so we used long rows of shelving and mannequins to display their range of helmets and respirators.
A standout feature was the use of structural trussing. This gave the stand a rugged look and provided a practical way to demonstrate their fall protection equipment. We also used strong, directional lighting to make sure the branding was clear and the products were well-lit.

Dalton Safety
The Dalton Safety stand was designed to be clean and professional. At the centre was a large, seamless storeroom featuring a bright, illuminated logo.
On the right side of the stand, we created a specific area for their collaboration with J’hayber, using minimalist floating shelves to display footwear. We used a wooden floor to define the stand space, which worked well alongside the seamless graphics and freestanding display units.

Automist
The Automist stand had a simple, high-end feel. We used seamless fabric graphics to create a smooth backdrop for their marketing screens and wall-mounted displays.
To save on costs and reduce the environmental impact, the client chose to reuse their own welcome counter and furniture. This was a sensible, sustainable approach that worked perfectly with the new stand elements, proving that you can still have a premium look while being eco-conscious.
Conclusion: A Successful Health & Safety Event!
It was great to see these designs come to life at the NEC. The Health & Safety Event 2026 was a busy show and a big success for our clients.
We want to thank our clients for trusting us with their stands again this year. We are already looking forward to seeing what we can achieve at the next event.
