TMD Friction, a world-leading friction expert, aimed to make a significant impact at Automechanika, a premier international trade fair for the automotive aftermarket. Building on their strong brand presence, the objective was to create an exhibition stand that not only showcased their extensive product range but also reinforced their position as an industry leader.

TMD Friction Automechanika Exhibition Stand Design

The challenge

The core challenge was to transform a standard shell scheme space into a high-impact, custom-designed exhibition stand. The goal was to achieve the visual appeal and presence of a “space only” stand within the constraints of a shell scheme, maximising brand visibility and creating an engaging environment for visitors. This involved incorporating sophisticated design elements and extensive illumination to stand out from competitors.

Our work

We meticulously designed and built a bespoke exhibition stand that effectively converted the shell scheme into a premium exhibition space. A key element of the design was the extensive use of illumination, including backlit logos that prominently displayed the TMD Friction brand, illuminated counters that enhanced product presentation, and illuminated floor trim that defined the stand’s perimeter and added a modern touch.

To highlight TMD Friction’s core products, we created custom displays specifically designed to showcase brake discs. These displays, integrated seamlessly into the stand, allowed for an impactful presentation of their braking technology. The stand also featured large screens displaying dynamic content, including product videos and information about their interactive prize draw, further engaging visitors. The multi-coloured counter sections, representing different brands like Textar and Mintex, added a vibrant and organized feel to the product display area.

The result

The exhibition stand for TMD Friction at Automechanika was a resounding success, effectively converting a shell scheme into a high-impact, space-only feel. The extensive illumination, prominently featuring the TMD Friction logo and highlighting product displays, drew significant attention. The custom brake disc displays and integrated digital content created a highly engaging and informative experience for attendees. The stand successfully reinforced TMD Friction’s brand identity and leadership in the friction industry, generating considerable interest and positive feedback from visitors.
