Rowden Technologies
Critical Communications
World 2026

Graphic Mill has partnered with Rowden Technologies for many years, designing and building stands that showcase their cutting-edge communications and defence engineering. For Critical Communications World 2026, Rowden wanted to elevate their presence with a larger, more impactful stand built to host demonstrations and hold client meetings.
The challenge
Rowden required a technical, engineering-focused aesthetic that reflected their specialist industry expertise. The space needed to incorporate high-end materials, seamlessly integrate hardware and digital devices for live demonstrations, and offer dedicated meeting areas to host visitors and clients throughout the show.

Our work
The stand was designed and built using a modular Aluvision system, tailored with bespoke architectural finishes to achieve an industrial, high-tech look.
Industrial Structure and Finishes
We utilised black Aluvision frames with exposed structural edges, custom mesh infill panels, and black Valchromat cabinetry. This combination created a sharp, modern, engineering-led environment with plenty of integrated storage to keep the stand tidy during busy show days.
High-Level Branding and Lighting
To maximise hall-wide visibility, a large fabric-clad ceiling banner was suspended directly above the space. On the main fabric back wall, a rear-illuminated Rowden logo was mounted on stand-offs to create depth and visual contrast, complemented by bright LED downlights along the top edges to cleanly illuminate the wall graphics.
Tech Integration and Demonstrations
The stand served as an active demonstration hub. Large display screens, tablets, mobile handsets, and a drone were securely and neatly mounted directly to the stand walls, keeping cabling entirely concealed while allowing visitors to interact directly with Rowden’s software and hardware platforms.
Hospitality and Meeting Areas
At the perimeter, a welcome desk with an overhead canopy created a dedicated greeting kiosk for passing delegates. Further into the stand, a large meeting table with bar seating provided a comfortable space for longer conversations, supported by an under-counter drinks chiller for visitor hospitality.
Floor Infrastructure
The entire stand was built on a raised sub-base to route electrical and data cabling out of sight. The floor was finished with concrete-effect vinyl and framed by sleek black ramped edging for safe, step-free access.
The result
The finished exhibition stand delivered a bold, technical presence that matched Rowden’s vision. By combining raw industrial finishes with crisp graphic execution and integrated technology, the space gave the team a functional, high-performance platform to demonstrate products and engage visitors.
It was a pleasure for our production team to bring this project to life, and we look forward to working with Rowden on their next event.
