We were delighted to partner with Pioneer Veterinary Products to design and build their exhibition stand at The London Vet Show. As a trusted supplier of high-quality veterinary consumables and equipment, Pioneer needed a stand that reflected their professional standing while accommodating a diverse range of functional requirements in a busy exhibition hall.
The challenge
Pioneer secured a strategic position in the hall situated right next to the catering area. While this guaranteed high footfall, it also meant they needed a design with significant impact to capture attention in a busy environment.
The functional requirements were complex. Pioneer wanted to display a vast array of products, ranging from small handheld instruments to large animal cages. This required a mix of secure display options and open floor space. Additionally, they required two private meeting rooms for confidential client discussions, all without making the stand feel closed off or cluttered.
Our work
Our design team worked closely with Pioneer, exploring multiple concepts before refining the direction to the final impressive structure. To conquer the “catering area challenge” and ensure visibility across the hall, we installed a massive 6m-wide cylindrical ceiling banner. This acted as a beacon, beaming the Pioneer brand from afar.
On the ground, we created a giant architectural archway as the stand’s centrepiece. To maximise utility, this structural build featured embedded, illuminated product windows to showcase key items, along with two large wall-mounted touchscreens providing access to the full product catalogue.
For product display, we crafted custom plinths with illuminated tops and secure acrylic boxes, ensuring valuable smaller items were safe yet highly visible. The larger items were given ample floor space, supported by a wood-effect sub-floor that allowed us to route power cables invisibly to exactly where they were needed.
To meet the need for privacy, we built two comfortable meeting rooms featuring clear windows, doors, and stylish wooden slat wall features. These provided a quiet haven for business without detaching completely from the stand’s atmosphere.
The build was handled entirely in-house. Our woodworking team constructed the custom elements, and our print team produced all graphics on our 3m fabric printer. We pre-built the entire stand at our headquarters to guarantee a seamless installation. We also managed all project management, health and safety, and risk assessments, allowing the Pioneer team to focus on their show strategy rather than logistics.
The result
The stand was a resounding success, with the Sales and Marketing Director at Pioneer calling it “the best London Vet Show & BVA Live we have ever had.”
The powerful LED lighting and 3D illuminated logos ensured the brand stood out sharply against the busy hall background, driving record engagement for the client. The functional design allowed their 25-person team to operate effectively, achieving:
- 581 conversations held over the two days.
- 42 new opportunities for practice kit-outs.
- 12 trials booked and 5 immediate orders taken for specialist laser and shockwave equipment.
The careful planogramming meant every product had its perfect place, and the flow of the stand worked effortlessly for both staff and visitors. The Pioneer team were incredibly pleased with the build quality and the commercial impact of the space. We look forward to working with them again in the future.
