Accountex 2026:
Stand Round-Up
Posted by Richard | 20/05/2026
Accountex returned to Excel London this May, building on the momentum of the previous event which brought together over 16,000 accountants, bookkeepers and finance professionals. With more than 300 exhibitors showcasing the latest industry tech and services, the event remains Europe’s definitive exhibition for digital accountancy.
Crucially for our clients on the show floor, 80% of these visitors authorise or influence purchasing decisions, making it an essential space for building brand presence and securing leads.
The Graphic Mill team were on-site to design and build several standout exhibition stands for key players in the sector. Here is a look at what we delivered to help our clients stand out and connect with the busy crowds.
FreeAgent
This marks our fourth consecutive year working with FreeAgent at Accountex. Every year, the team make updates to the design to keep it fresh and improve the layout, resulting in a truly flagship island exhibition stand for the digital accounting leader.
The substantial 196-square-metre space featured two large curved towers connected by an overhead bridge. This year, we integrated a massive video wall into one of the towers to create a dedicated presentation area, complete with wireless headsets to block out hall noise and comfortable cube seating. The rigged ceiling banners were beefed up to double their previous height, featuring illuminated FreeAgent logos across each side for visibility across the entire exhibition hall.
We also added a new interactive branded claw machine as a fun way for visitors to win swag. These updates built upon the existing structure, which included colourful seamless graphics, multiple demo stations, and a popular coffee bar. Custom cloud lights hung from the central bridge to create a distinct visual feature, while lightboxes with custom wooden slatted surrounds provided excellent branding areas across the stand.
Accessibility was a core priority for this build, incorporating ramped edging, modified demo stations for wheelchair users, and a considered layout flow to make the space welcoming to everyone. It was an incredible project, and we already look forward to seeing what we can add next year.

Zahara Software
We delivered a colourful, attention-grabbing stand for Zahara Software, focusing on bright illuminations to turn heads. The design featured a high-level illuminated halo logo and glowing trim to ensure the brand was visible from the aisles.
A wall-mounted demo station provided the perfect spot for the team to show their product offering to leads, while a premium L-shaped welcome desk offered extra room for demonstrations and a centralised area for greeting visitors. We built an integrated storeroom into the space to keep staff belongings and giveaways tidy. The stand was finished with a ramped sub-floor for a premium feel, along with a dedicated table and chairs for informal client meetings.
Apari Pro
This clean, well-executed stand for Apari Pro demonstrates how a standard backwall can be elevated into a standout design feature. The space featured a four-metre-high backwall clad in seamless graphics, topped with a halo-illuminated logo and vibrant LED trim.
The welcome desk mirrored this bright aesthetic, featuring its own illuminated logo and RGB LED trim to capture the attention of passing visitors. A large digital screen was mounted to the backwall for looping marketing videos. To complete the premium look, we installed a raised sub-floor with accessible ramping, alongside elegant bar tables and stools that provided a functional area for meeting potential leads.
Fathom
Part of the Access Group, Fathom required a modular, meeting-focused space. The seamless printed graphics aligned perfectly with the wall-mounted screens, showcasing the benefits of our in-house printing and workshop pre-build facilities, which allow us to guarantee a perfect fit before arriving on-site. As with all of our space-only exhibition stands, we used the modular Aluvision framework to design and build this space.
The layout included a compact storeroom to keep the floor clutter-free, alongside an L-shaped welcome desk positioned to invite visitors into the space. A high bar table and stools complemented the open layout, while exhibition-grade lighting illuminated the brand messaging. The entire space was built on top of a ramped sub-floor to give the final handover a premium finish.
